So happy for you Tony. You've always been super generous with your time (thanks for talking to our RedBar Raleigh group all those months ago) and I wish for nothing but your continued success.

Thanks Tony and Good Luck! While I'm a relative newcomer I've thoroughly enjoyed your arrivals in my inbox. As I am staring into the face of retirement I can empathize with your decision to change careers. Looking forward to seeing you over at "The Big H".

So very happy for you. Very rarely does one get a happy RIP news but this is one of those. Tons of happy memories reading your musings. Onwards to bigger things but expect nothing short of your usual honesty and sharp observation. Best of luck!

“big changes that you actively choose tend to turn out better than just letting life happen to you.” Amen to that. And so congratulations to you, Tony, and thank you for all your work to date. Although I only discovered Rescapement in the last year (via the pod), it’s been a joy and while I will miss these newsletters, I’m sure your addition at HODINKEE will help them raise their bar. So best of luck with the new gig, and kudos to you for taking a brave leap into the professional unknown. That’s where all the good sh*t happens! 😎👍🙏

Congratulations Tony. What a big move to leave lawyering for a writing gig with Hodinkee! Congratulations on your courage Tom continue to pursue your passion. Better than writing “briefs,,” I am sure. Many years ago I switched careers from being a Clinical Psychologist to opening a vintage watch shop. The decision wasn’t an easy one, but it certainly was the right one as now, 40 years later I am still at it. Best wishes to you and I will look forward to your always interesting point of view. As I've told you before, Rescapement is/was my favorite watch 'sletter or blog. As you may recall, that's actually how Eric W. introduced me to you ("Tony, meet Seth, he's a big fan and loves Rescapement). Accordingly, I'll miss Rescapement but will definitely look forward to following you on Hodinkee and the podcast (presuming you'll continue your role with that communication). I hope to see you sometime soon.

Congratulations on this big step forward. I remember meeting you at a little local watch meet-up you organized pre-pandemic. and was hoping you would do another one. Maybe someday! In the meantime I will continue to enjoy your articles over at Hodinkee.

I never comment on posts, but it’s bittersweet that I write this congratulatory note, as I will miss rescapement, the voice, and excellent perspectives you and others have provided. I’m excited for you and to follow your next chapter, and I think, like many, our hopes of Hodinkee ride on your shoulders! Thanks for the great quality info you’ve provided, and best of luck!
