Nowadays, it’s the highest compliment you can pay to a watch: “You have to see this in person” We scroll through hundreds of flat, square images a day, double-tapping or stopping for microseconds to signal our tacit praise or approval. But sometimes, a watch comes along that demands more. For one reason or another, two-dimensional panes of glass don’t entirely capture its allure.
I love it simply because it confuses so many who simply need to fit into neat little boxes so as to make some sense of this world, likewise the all gold one. The silver and gold versions are for people who are not afraid to live on and trust in solely there own terms and do not need to feel safe and secure by the need to fit it! It’s like people who by a Chopard Alpine Eagle Chronograph over a Daytona!
I wish watchmakers would do more pieces like this. It makes no sense. But the end result is awesome.
