The Great Big Watch Calendar 2025
The watch industry events, shows, and gatherings to look out for this year.
In last week’s Q&A, I got a few questions about the biggest watch events, shows, and gatherings to look out for each year.
Since 2023, Watches & Wonders has occurred every April in Geneva. It’s the biggest week of the year. 50+ brands, led by Rolex, Patek Philippe, and Cartier, take up residence in a convention center near the Geneva Airport, while hundreds more exhibit throughout the city. While geared towards retailers and media, it is becoming more friendly to enthusiasts.
For vintage collectors, the twice-annual auction seasons in Geneva and New York (and Hong Kong) also serve as meetups. Over the course of a long weekend, the three major auction houses all host live sales, offering the chance to preview hundreds of watches in just a few days. The November Geneva season is often the biggest because it happens in conjunction with the annual GPHG awards. In the leadup to these sales, these watches will also travel to major cities, so keep an eye out for that.
Every year, I try to attend (at least): Watches & Wonders, Geneva Watch Days, one Windup Fair, and one auction season. Attending in-person events renews my faith in humanity and brings me out from behind a screen, if only for a few brief and glorious minutes.

What about some vintage watches trade shows like the one in Parma or Munich? I’ve never been there just heard about them.
Great list! Ty!
